Vantage · Guest Intelligence

Familiarity makes you blind to what guests feel throughout their stay.

A SORVEIL partner checks in as a guest, with fresh eyes only a stranger has, then hands you an honest picture of the guest experience, and the small things that could change everything for the next guest.

A problem you fix before it spreads - and the guest stays yours.

Walk the same hallways enough times and you stop seeing what a guest notices immediately. That is the cost of familiarity. No checklist can do what SORVEIL does: listen in on the actual conversations guests have about your hotel and fix what is broken.

How Vantage works

01

The stay

A SORVEIL partner checks in as a discerning guest. Known to you, unknown to your team. Two to four nights, every touchpoint experienced the way a real guest would.

02

The findings

The partner sits across from you, one on one. Sixty to ninety minutes, no slides, just what we saw and what it means for your property.

03

The insights

A private brief, yours to act on or shelve. Delivered before anyone else even suspects there was something to find. We tell you what we found, not what fills a quota.

The questions hoteliers ask us first.

How is Vantage different from mystery shopping?

Mystery shopping is anonymous, scored against a generic checklist, and often outsourced to whoever's available that week. Vantage is a partner staying two to four nights as a real guest, then sitting down with your GM for a direct conversation about what they saw, no scorecard, no external standard, no franchise-style checklist. The brief that follows is written for your property specifically, not benchmarked against a category average.

Will my staff know a SORVEIL partner is on property?

No. Your team never knows which guest is a SORVEIL partner, so what you see in the brief is how they actually run the property, not how they perform for an inspector. Only the GM or ownership, whoever commissioned the engagement, knows the stay is happening.

How long does an engagement take from start to finish?

The stay itself runs two to four nights, followed by a sixty to ninety minute debrief conversation with the partner and then delivery of the private brief. There are no slides and no waiting on a committee. From the first night to the finished brief in your hands is typically a matter of weeks, not months.

Who actually runs the stay and writes the brief?

The same partner from check-in to debrief, with no junior consultants and no templated reports passed down a chain. That partner pays for their own stay, so there's no comp, no rate code, and no brand affiliation shaping what gets said. What you get is one person's direct read on your property, not a synthesized report assembled by someone who was never there.

What does Vantage cost, and how does pricing work?

There's no flat rate card, because no two properties need the same thing from us. Tell us about yours, and we'll tell you what it costs. That's partly a function of scope, and partly because every engagement is led personally by a partner rather than staffed out, so pricing reflects the property and the work, not a package tier.

The guest who leaves quietly is the one worth listening to.

One stay, and we'll tell you what they never said, and what would bring them back. In confidence, and with no obligation.
